Along with dreamy berries, on the top plateau of Grasse, but also in the Maritime Alps to mountain peaks culminating at 1500 m from which the door view on one side on the Alps, on the other on the sea Mediterranean.

Daniel Anker, one of the most famous Alpine journalists in Switzerland, presents 45 hikes chosen from a day plus a few days between Menton and Marseille. The proposed excursions are aimed at everyone and go simple walks on the islands of Lérins to the difficult mountain hikes in the Estérel massif or the Maritime Alps via ballads on the beach near St. – Troiss. The famous crossing of Calanques and a long 15 – stage hike from Menton to Marseille complete the range of possibilities. The author guides hiker here on paths almost always disdainted by the majority of tourists. All hikes presented are accessible by public transport and were made by the author only in this way. It gives a lot of useful information and indicates the bus and train lines as well as the phone numbers of the corresponding intelligence services.
